Now…I have always wanted to compete in a 24hr race so I managed to get a drive in a BMW 3.0 in this year’s Brit Car at Silverstone. I had a most brilliant weekend the weather was terrible for most of the night and only dried out 1/2 hour before the finish, three drivers in all doing 3-hour stints I only managed about 1 1/2 hours sleep but we had a nice motorhome Sandy and Miles enjoyed the weekend, finished 9th in class.
