Our 1965 Corvette Stingray was invited to race in the one hour “Graham Hill Trophy” race at the iconic Goodwood race track. Firstly the Corvette was asked to be photographed on stage to feature in the Goodwood Greats on the GRRC website. it was a lovely sunny but cold spring day where you meet up with such marvellous people and friends. Well Jason Plato accepted the offer to share the drive which is an honour for me bearing in mind he is the UK’s most successful touring car driver! we qualified 10th out of a field of over 30 cars many of which are light and nimble well sorted Cobra’s, E-Types, Bizzarrinis to name a few we finished up coming 8th so we are moving on up the grid, I really hope to get the invite for Septembers Revival….fingers crossed for that one! Here’s a practice lap.
